Governments and businesses promote simple actions like recycling to contribute to less waste and a better environment.

But some communities claim this is distracting from the bigger climate action it needs to happen.

A new research from the University of New South Wales and Griffith University shows there’s no evidence in the claim, saying small lifestyle changes don’t affect the support for broader climate action.
